DECISIONS AND ISSUES
- Three entries 20-117 to 20-119 include one substantive direction. 20-118 supported the GN’s three critical construction projects and requested COVID risk-mitigation plans: deep-sea port and small-craft harbour, correctional healing centre, and the listed multiplex housing program.
- The minutes describe a list item as “46 multi-plexes (2020/2021)”; this is not converted into an independently verified completed-building or housing-unit total. Council support remained separate from Chief Public Health Officer approval, quarantine requirements and evidence work occurred.
- City waterline, sewer and treatment-plant projects were still under staff review. No City project approval is inferred here; May 20 later considered the City’s critical list. Staff reported the secondary vulnerable/elderly men’s shelter open while Buildings 1077/1079 remained unfinished. No elected-member membership change is recorded.
