DECISIONS AND ISSUES
- Seven entries PD20-30 to PD20-36 include five substantive recommendations or defeated business items. Agenda and adjournment are procedural.
- PD20-31 recommended a three-year ski-club storage permit with improvements and a 1.5% annual fee of $1,288.65 after June’s deferral. Council approved it July 28.
- PD20-32 recommended explosives-storage LUP20-006 and a $30,327.50 invoice, 5–1: Bell, Stevenson, Flaherty, Sheppard and Awa for; Brewster opposed. November’s fee correction to $16,147 is linked as a later calculation correction, not an assumed discount or payment.
- PD20-33 on a Joamie two-unit semi-detached building, setback variance and subdivision was defeated 2–4: Sheppard and Flaherty for; Stevenson, Brewster, Bell and Awa opposed. It is not an approved housing permit.
- PD20-34 recommended encroachment survey SK20-003. PD20-35 recommended exploring cabin leases and halting construction until a plan, later refined by Council to new cabins on unleased land.
