DECISIONS AND ISSUES
- Eighteen entries 20-214 to 20-231 include eleven substantive items. Agenda, three minute approvals, closed transitions and adjournment are procedural. The water-ban delegation was removed, so no lifting decision is inferred.
- 20-218/219 gave first and second readings to unsightly-land amendment 900. 20-220/221 recorded final readings of 895/896, overlapping June 23’s bundled readings. Sheppard’s conflict explains the reduced 20-221 tally; Akumalik’s conflict explains 20-222/223.
- 20-222/223 allocated COVID food and community wellness funding. 20-224 awarded Totem Offisource furniture at $120,083.48 plus GST; June 30’s reported $113,100 purchase may overlap, so the figures are not summed as final spending.
- 20-225 approved the ski-club permit and annual $1,288.65 fee. 20-226 approved explosives storage and the $30,327.50 invoice, 5–1: Stevenson, Akumalik, Flaherty, Sheppard and Awa for; Brewster opposed. November 5/10 correct the calculated fee to $16,147.
- 20-227 approved SK20-003 and 20-228 directed cabin-lease exploration with no new cabins on unleased municipal land until a plan. Flaherty gave advance notice of August 11 absence and later remote participation; this is not a resignation or proof of every future absence.
