Recorded absent

No absence shown in the quarterly grid.

  1. Twenty numbered entries 21-48 to 21-67 contain fifteen substantive items. This Council meeting followed the separate housekeeping hearing at 6:03 p.m.
  2. 21-50/52/56 recorded all three stages of fees bylaw 908 in this meeting. 21-51/53/57 likewise recorded enforcement-appointment bylaw 910. These appointments concern staff, not new councillors. 21-54/55 gave second readings to amendments 898/899.
  3. The housing-task-force presentation estimated a need for 400 units and 100 to 200 annually for growth and replacement, and described infrastructure and land costs. These are presentation estimates, not approved construction or measured system capacity.
  4. Nattaq apologized for his February 23 taxi-driver comments. Bell acknowledged the apology. The minutes do not record a numbered sanction or resignation.
  5. 21-58 appointed the Board of Revision. 21-59 authorized a separate $50,000 Sport Nunavut facility-upgrade application. 21-60/61 supported research; 21-62 provided a generic broadband support letter rather than exclusive support for one provider.
  6. 21-65 awarded the old Iridium-site lease to PanArctic: $2,250,000 for Lot 891 and $250,000 for Lot 892. Fawcett was outside for the conflicted land item and returned before 21-66, the one-year Colliers engineering-management extension. The lease award is not proof of payment received.
