DECISIONS AND ISSUES
- Five numbered entries PD 21-55 to PD 21-59 match the registry. Three substantive proposals include the defeated explosive-storage recommendation. Committee proposals are not Council approvals.
- PD 21-56 recommended a wellness-hub zoning amendment with no reduction in minimum parking. Discussion amended the requirement to provide 14 spaces. PD 21-57 recommended notice for a September 14 public hearing. Sheppard was outside for the conflicted item; no support is assigned to him on these motions.
- PD 21-58 proposed adding one explosive-storage container to LUP 21-008 with a non-renewal and relocation condition for the following year. It was defeated 3–4: Brewster, Sheppard and Stevenson for; Nattaq, Fawcett, Awa and Akumalik opposed. The chair’s named vote is preserved.
- Members raised access, safety and notification concerns. Those statements are attributed concerns, not an independent finding about regulatory compliance. Akumalik said he would be away for a couple of weeks; no exact departure or leave interval is inferred.
