DECISIONS AND ISSUES
- PD 22-44 through PD 22-50 match the registry. Appointment of the meeting chair, agenda and adjournment were procedural. Four substantive recommendations were recorded. The registry gives no numeric tallies; the minutes name positions on the zoning recommendation.
- PD 22-48 recommended first reading of a site-specific cannabis-store zoning amendment on a named 3–1 vote: Bell, Stevenson and Quassa for; Nattaq opposed. Sheppard chaired. Council separately approved first reading June 28 under 22-226. Later readings, hearing comments and final approval are separate stages, not this committee vote.
- PD 22-46 recommended the North 40 two-storey maintenance and office facility permit; PD 22-47 recommended converting a single detached dwelling to a duplex with a second-storey addition and frontage and side-yard variances. Council approved the permits under 22-224 and 22-225 on June 28. The duplex proposal converts one existing home into two, rather than adding two net homes. Permit approval does not prove completion.
- PD 22-49 recommended first and second readings of the replacement sewer and water development charge bylaw. Council records readings June 28 under 22-227 and numbered bylaw 940 readings again July 12 under 22-235 and 22-236, followed by final reading July 26. The repetition is flagged pending clarification; the committee recommendation is not final enactment.
