DECISIONS AND ISSUES
- Motions 22-437 through 22-439 reconcile by number and subject with the registry. Agenda and adjournment were procedural. The only substantive motion, 22-438, conditionally permitted a temporary direct water-main connection for the developer of the JAM Hotel. It was marked unanimous with seven votes after Curley and Stevenson arrived.
- The department's conditions included a permanent metal access vault within a maximum one-year temporary period, required permits, developer responsibility for temporary-connection risks and operational issues, and proposed equal cost sharing for the access vault. The minutes estimated about $300,000 for the vault alone, excluding design and other details. Motion 22-438 did not state a City award or final cost.
- Council had referred the developer's request for further committee discussion on November 22 under 22-425. The special meeting was a separate approval. The written record does not establish that the permanent vault was later installed or what either party ultimately paid.
