Recorded absent

No absence shown in the quarterly grid.

  1. EPW 23-01 through EPW 23-06 reconcile with the registry. Two unanimous recommendations concerned water-project delivery and AV 305 remediation; agenda, closed-session transitions and adjournment were procedural. The recommendations did not themselves award or direct council work.
  2. EPW 23-02 recommended changing the Long-Term Water Supply Project delivery approach from design-build to design-bid-build after discussion of design risk, licensing, procurement and community employment. Council issued the direction April 11 under 23-107.
  3. Staff described limited flow data for the proposed Unnamed Lake source and a future licence application. These were dated planning statements, not evidence of a water licence or completed reservoir.
  4. The Apex River pumping update described pending electrical and generator work. Staff reported Lake Geraldine near 109 metres and discussed conservation and risks if freshet or supplemental pumping were delayed; these are March 2023 conditions, not current water levels.
  5. Following a closed session, EPW 23-05 recommended awarding Nunavut Excavating the AV 305 remediation contract. Council recorded a separate award April 11 as 23-108. The minutes do not state a contract amount or establish completion.
