DECISIONS AND ISSUES
- The City Clerk pointed City Hall Record to the approved eight-page minutes on the City's meeting entry and supplied the six-page agenda package in English and Inuktitut. It includes draft committee terms of reference and the May 2 version of the 2025 meeting calendar.
- GP 25-02 unanimously recommended terms of reference to council. This was a committee recommendation, not council adoption; council later approved the terms on June 10. The agenda and adjournment motions were procedural.
- Members discussed reviewing the Council Procedure By-law, the Cities, Towns and Villages Act and an inventory of City by-laws. The minutes record questions about committee membership, quorum and how workshop priorities would reach public decisions. Those exchanges have not yet been added to the annual question count.
- The City Clerk said the committee's next sitting was proposed for July 17 under a draft every-two-months schedule. A proposed date in these minutes is not proof that the later meeting took place.
