2024 Council voting: minutes, tallies and source holds
Original minutes and registries checked October 4, 2026 for all 23 indexed Council meetings in 2024, including two special meetings. The selected voting index expands while every existing entry is preserved.
December motions 23-383 and 23-386 appear to give first readings later repeated in existing 2024 entries 24-109 and 24-258. The earlier motions are held from extra indexed support pending sequence clarification; existing 2024 entries are preserved. Read the cross-year source review.
Across selected years and committees. Explore member voting records.
The source inventory retains them; no additional index entry or member support is assigned while the stage sequence remains unclear.
239 are substantive voted motion entries, 109 are procedural and one was withdrawn without a vote. The substantive disposition is 216 additions, eight formal motion IDs already covered in seven existing entries, and fifteen held stages. The existing 24-100 / 24-101 combined-reading entry stays grouped.
Procedure includes agenda and minute approvals, session transitions and adjournments. A substantive direction to defer or refer business is indexed when it has a verified vote; an unvoted agenda deferral is not. The two special meetings have one substantive vote between them.
These are selected voting counts, not full-term voting percentages or measures of effectiveness. The indexed 2024 and 2025 committee and board written voting sources are now reviewed. Other committee years and attribution holds remain separate work. Read the completed committee review.
Smith chaired May 14, August 13, August 27 and September 10; Flaherty chaired the voted items on June 11 and November 26. On June 11 Awa briefly took the chair for a noise-exemption item that lacked quorum, then Flaherty resumed. No vote is invented for that discussion.
Where Awa attended as an ordinary member under another chair, his reconstructed support reconciles with the full unanimous tally. The existing June 11 and August 27 named votes also expressly identify his support. The person actually chairing receives no ordinary support position.
Aglukark was appointed February 13 and affirmed February 27. The earlier minutes do not place her on the voting roster; she receives no support or absence before the recorded affirmation. Conflicts are item-specific and remain separate from abstentions. A reduced tally is checked against the named conflict or departure.
May 28 motion 24-138, second reading of Vehicle for Hire By-law 971, was withdrawn. Motion 24-139 separately sends the bylaw back to staff and is indexed as that direction, not as a successful reading.
Earlier compound motions give readings that later minutes record again under separate numbers. These are clarification holds, not claims that the later recorded votes never happened. Where the operative text only refers to an attached land draft, parcel identity is not guessed.
Supplemental posted bylaws identify the zoning and authority changes: By-law 983. By-law 982. By-law 987. By-law 975.
