Current-term totals reproduce City quarterly reports for January 2024 through September 2026. Unreported meetings stay outside the denominator. Meetings with disputed rosters, missing statuses or no eligible report cell are excluded for that member.
Presence does not measure preparation, constituent work or effectiveness. Earlier-term records cover reviewed meetings from November 2019 through October 2023. Current-term attendance covers the City’s quarterly reports from January 2024 through September 2026. Missing meetings and unresolved membership eligibility prevent a complete term attendance rate.
Historical counts use explicitly named present and absent statuses only. Advisory committees with public membership, postponed meetings and disputed rosters are excluded. The September 22, 2020, May 27, 2021 and October 26, 2021 disputed rosters remain held. Arrival and departure notes do not create extra attendances.
67 attendances across 93 eligible seats in the City’s Q1, Q2 and Q3 2026 reports.

What this table does: It reproduces the selected City attendance report. Meetings found elsewhere in the official archive are shown in archive coverage, but never assigned an attendance status without evidence.
Archive records and attendance events are not the same denominator. In 2024, the City reported attendance for 44 events while the combined archive-and-attendance record contains 52 distinct events. In 2025, the attendance grids list 34 events while the searchable archive contains 43 records. From January through September 2026, the grids list 27 events while 30 meeting and board records are documented. Attendance is never assigned across those gaps. The April 30 Board of Revision is one of the records outside the grid.
CURRENT TERM · COMPARABLE PERIOD THROUGH JUNE 30, 2026
A simple comparison, not a performance grade
One formula is used here and on every councillor page: estimated council pay ÷ City-reported events attended. The comparable period is January 1, 2024 through June 30, 2026. The mayor is excluded. The current council began November 14, 2023, but late-2023 attendance is not added until a matching City quarterly grid is indexed.

Why the cutoff is June 30: Q3 attendance is now available in the attendance explorer. This pay comparison deliberately retains the reviewed January 2024 through June 2026 compensation and attendance period. Q3 attendance is not added to its denominator without matching compensation review.
Read this narrowly: attendance is not the complete job. This calculation excludes preparation, constituent work, correspondence, negotiation, judgment, actual payroll adjustments, benefits, reimbursements and meetings omitted from City grids.
Partial-service method: Aglukark is prorated from her February 27, 2024 swearing-in; Tilley through his March 10, 2026 resignation; Matshazi from his June 23 appointment through June 30. Matshazi has no City attendance-grid denominator within this January to June comparison, so no per-attendance figure is shown.
Council accepted Jack Anawak’s resignation on November 14, 2023. Amber Aglukark was appointed to fill the vacancy on February 13, 2024 and sworn in February 27. Samuel Tilley resigned March 10, 2026; Kuthula Matshazi was appointed June 23, 2026 and sworn in July 28, as footnoted in the Q3 report. Meetings outside a person’s time in office are marked not eligible.
